We mentioned earlier here that we would be visiting some of the local businesses to see what the area has to offer, so that we could share it here with you. Our next review is of Bellport Beer and Soda, over at 417 Station Rd, just South of Montauk Highway. They are a full service beer distributor serving the Bellport area, for those of you who don’t know.

If you haven’t been there yet, I recommend you check these guys out. I have been in there many times myself, and the shelves are always stocked and the beer is always cold. Not only do they carry all of the common domestic and imported beers, they also have  huge selection of micro brews. The owner regularly host open beer tasting events and promotions over at the store.

I have to give this place a great score overall for this review. They really come through with quality product, service and pricing. Whether you live in Bellport or are just passing through, you will find Bellport Beer and Soda conveniently located and I’m sure you will find exactly what you are looking for, especially if its that hard to find beer they don’t sell at your local grocery store.

We have been hitting the streets of Bellport lately to check out what the local scene has to offer. In particular we have begun our tour of all the local restaurants just to see whats what. We want to know first hand whats hot and whats not. After we finish the restaurant tour we will move on to another sector. This is all in preparation for an upcoming section of BELLPORT-NY.com which will feature our reviews of the places we have visited.

We will begin posting our reviews within the next week or two, in a dedicated area on this site. In order to keep the reviews unbiased, business owners will not be informed of our visit. These will not be a paid advertisement reviews like we all to often see on some websites. This is the real deal.  Stay on your toes all you local Bellport restaurant entrepreneurs. We are coming, if we haven’t been there already, and plan on writing a fair and honest review of your place of business.

We also have plans to add a feature to our directory, which will allow you to rate the local businesses listed there and leave comments on your experiences in dealing with them. The idea is to create an accurate representation of the community. With this business rating system you will get to see what others think of their service before you go throwing your hard earned money at them. You can expect to see this option in the near future.

We have also been getting allot of requests from our visitors top get the Pictures page up and running. I just want to let you know that the wait is almost over. We have been gathering photos of the area so we can launch it in style, with plenty of pics for your veiwing pleasure.
