Bellport Village Home Video

Once again while browsing through videos on youtube, I came across another gem. It looks like someone made this video to advertise a home for sale in The Village of Bellport, and in doing so got allot of nice scenic footage of the area. Here you can find lovely views of The Great South Bay, The Bellport Marina, The four corners, as well as a look at a very lovely home that may be up for grabs. Check it out.

Bellport Village – Bellport Country Club Golf Course Virtual Tour

Here is another interesting video I found on YouTube. This is a “fly-over tour of the Bellport Country Club golf course in The Village of Bellport. Patterson Cuts Nearly $1 Billion From School Aid

Governor Pattersons new budget plan is out, and the cuts are deep. He is slashing around $700,000,000 from the school system as part of a desperate attempt to balance New York’s budget. That is quite a bit of money to take away from our schools, some of which are under funded already. Its a bad day when we have to sacrifice our childrens education because of our own financial irresponsibility. So it looks like taxes are gonna go up and we are gonna get a little bit less bang for our buck in the public service area. Its seems like our government should spend a little less time figuring out how much money they are gonna give to the execs at the failing auto companies an spend a little more time figuring out how to inject some of that free government bailout money back into the economy and get things hopping again. All that talk about creating new jobs by giving the states money to fix our failing infrastructure, but still no action.

Every effort should be being made to jumpstart our economy right now and not just how we are gonna keep the old money alive. Instead we will let our kids go without a propper chance at an education. If we cant figure this mess out, how the heck are they going to be able to when it is their time to take charge. We should probably be trying to figure out how to pump more money into our schools, so that the leaders of tommorow might be a bit more prepared than some of the clowns we have had running things the last few years on local and national levels. Its time to get our priorities straight, and our ducks in a row.
